Community Energy Scotland
Community Energy Scotland is an independent Scottish charity, providing free advice and support for renewable energy projects developed by community groups to benefit their community. It also provides support and guidance to communities applying to the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Loan Scheme (CARES). The scheme provides loans towards the high risk, pre-planning consent stages of renewable energy projects which have significant community engagement and benefit.

Energy Saving Trust
The Energy Saving Trust in Wales works closely with the Welsh Assembly Government and others to provide advice and to stimulate debate on the policies and programmes that are needed to significantly reduce personal emissions in Wales.

The Renewable Energy Centre 
The Renewable Energy Centre provides a practical and easy-to-understand introduction to renewable technologies, advice on installation, a directory of contractors and suppliers, links to not-for-profit renewables organisations and links to sources of funding and further information.

DECC's Energy Saving Advice Line, launched in March, can be accessed by dialling 0300 123 1234 or by visiting, and will initially focus on providing advice to households and businesses on existing Energy Efficiency and Microgeneration schemes, including onward referrals, on the Green Deal when the policy launches in October 2012.

Community Pathways: provides excellent information and guidance on the many different approaches communities can consider to take action on action change, with links to case studies from communities and relevant resources for reach of the approaches.

DECC's Community Energy Online Portal provides the latest news from UK Government relating to, in particular, FiTs, RHI, RHPP as well as minutes from the Community Energy Contact Group.
